DC Downtown has food ministry DC Downtown Food Ministry offers food items from a 5,000-square foot warehouse at 201 Jenkins Street from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The ministry serves people from more than a dozen counties in southeast Georgia and north Florida.

River of Life starts resource program River of Life Church, 1439 Brunel Street, offers a community resource center from 10 a.m. to noon, the fourth Friday of each month.

The River Missions program will offer practical life skills, hot meals, clothing and more. Next session is December 26.

Way of Cross EPC has food giveaway Way of the Cross EPC holds a free food and clothing giveaway at 8 a.m. the first Saturday of each month at 512 Lee Avenue.

People should bring a bag or box for items. The first-come, first-served giveaway will next be held January 3.

Items are available from donations by Waycross Food Distributor, Southern Acre Farm, LLC and Charlie’s Chicken.

Men With Power meets 1st Saturday Men With Power meets the first Saturday of each month at Faith Outreach Ministries, 200 Tebeau Street.

The next meeting is 9 a.m. Saturday, January 3. The session is open to all men and boys.

Feed My Sheep seeks donations Peter Feed My Sheep food ministry is accepting donations for its meal program for the homeless.

In addition to the holiday meals, the outreach provides clothing and personal hygiene items to the needy.

Donations are accepted with checks payable to Peter Feed My Sheep and sent to 613 Sweat Street, Waycross, 31501, or with Cash App, $peterfeed mysheep.

Deadline for items for the Religion Page is 4 p.m. on the Friday before publication on Wednesday.

Announcements may be emailed to church@wjhnews. com or delivered between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays to the Waycross Journal-Herald office at 311 Carswell Avenue.

Items appear as space allows until out they are out of date.
