WAYCROSS — Mr. Thomas Allen Howell, Jr., 54, of Waycross, died Wednesday afternoon, December 10, 2025, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born in Waycross to Thomas Allen Howell, Sr., and Kathy Womack George. Raised in Waycross, Howell moved away for a period of time before returning to Waycross for good following his mother’s death. He worked as a diesel mechanic for P&M Trucking in Douglas and for Beach Timber Company in Blacksh ear.
Howell always enjoyed any time he was able to spend outdoors, hunting, fishing or grilling.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his granddaughter, Addison Harris.
He is survived by his significant other, Karen Brooks of Waycross; three children, Tiffany Bush (Chris), Jessica Howell (John Carver), and Donnie Music, all of Waycross; 11 grandchildren, Jason, Leah, Kaylee, Michael, Allie, Audrey, Ansley, Avery, Alivia, Wrangler, and Trinity; his father, Thomas Allen Howell, Sr., of Nashville, Ga.; two brothers, Joey Howell (Leslie) of Valdosta, and Bryan Howell (Anita) of Douglas; along with numerous other relatives.
A graveside service was held Saturday, December 13 in Greenlawn Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed by signing online at www.milesodumfuneralhome. com. Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
