FOLKSTON – Troy Billy Cargile, 59 of Folkston, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025 at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital.
Born in Brunswick, Cargile’s parents are Jessie Earline Rogers Cargile and the late Bobby Cargile. He is also preceded in death by two sister, Doreen Shepard and Darla Cargile; and a brother, Tracy Shannon Cargile.
Cargile was a mechanic who enjoyed doing card tricks, collecting knives and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-inlaw, Alexis Odum (Rusty) of Brunswick and Brittany Luckey of Thomaston; a son, Devin Cargile of Brunswick; four grandchildren, Joshua, Swayzie, Blayten and Padgett; his mother, Earline Cargile of St. Simons; three brothers, Bobby Cargile, Jessie Cargile and Kenneth Cargile all of Brunswick; two sisters, Dana Powley and Heather Joseph both of Brunswick; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
