Marine ‘Tiny’ Waters Thomas

Marine “Tiny” Waters Thomas, 68, of Bristol, passed away Sunday night, December 14, 2025, at her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 3, 1957, in Alma, she was a daughter of the late Grady Cecil and Juanita Holton Waters.  She was a 1975 graduate of Bacon County High School and lived most of her adult life in Pierce County. She obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from Altamaha Technical College and worked as a patient care assistant in the Heart Center at Memorial Satilla Health.
A faithful member of Walkerville Baptist Church, she had served as the church pianist and attended the Adult Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Thomas and her two sisters, Lawanda Westberry and Laverne Gay.
Survivors include her three daughters, Amanda Butler (husband Tony) of Minnesota, Deannie Rigdon (husband Wayne), Alma and Kimberly Siadek (husband Robbie) of Texas; seven grandchildren, Dakota Metts, Grace Ressler (husband Cayden), Chloe Butler, Blaine Rigdon, Logan Rigdon, Drew Siadek and Ellison Siadek; three great-grandchildren, Silas Rigdon, Waylon Rigdon and Amanda Metts; her brother, G.C. Waters, Hoboken and several special nieces and nephews; and many treasured friends and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Walkerville Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, from the Walkerville Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Carter and the Rev. Buddy Griner officiating. 
Interment will follow in the Walkerville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southeast Cancer Unit, P.O. Box 667, Blackshear, GA 31516.
