Matt Gardner of the Pierce County Board of Elections and Registration was named county employee of the month for December. Board of Elections Supervisor Leah Ritch praised Gardner’s attention to detail and his expertise with technology in serving as her assistant supervisor, deputy registrar and machine program technician. Ritch (left) is shown presenting Gardner with a certificate of appreciation.
