The Waycross Journal-Herald’s Empty Stocking Fund Christmas tradition stands at $775 after receiving $250 in donations last week.
Contributions were received from:
• $100: Anonymous
• $100: Clement A. Evans, Camp 64, Sons of Confederate Veterans • $25: In memory of Roy Harris
• $25: Comfort Chapel The annual fundraiser collected more than $8,624 last year. Since 1984, the newspaper’s effort totaled $323,099.64 through 2024.
Contributions for the fund will be accepted through the month of December. Donations to the fund may be delivered from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., weekdays to the Journal-Herald, 311 Carswell Avenue or mailed to:
