WAYCROSS— Mr. Raymond Calvin Cribb, Jr., 69, of Waycross, died Sunday evening, November 30, 2025, at his residence after a brief illness.
He was born in Waycross to the late Raymond Calvin Cribb, Sr., and Ruth Chancey Cannon. Cribb made Waycross his home for his entire life. He retired from AT&T where he worked as a service technician. He enjoyed talking on his CB Radio with his “CB Buddies.” He loved his dogs, fishing and cooking.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Morris Dixon, Sr., his nephew, Morris Dixon, Jr., and his infant sister, Mary Cribb.
Cribb is survived by his wife, Lisa Cribb of Waycross; one son, Daniel Cribb of Rebecca, Ga.; his stepmother, Betty Cribb Overstreet of Waycross; his stepsister, Donna Hurst Haynes (Geoff) of Amelia Island, Fla.; a special cousin, Dennis Newton (Ann) of Blackshear; his niece, Elaine Dixon of Waycross; his nephew, Glen Keen (Jamie) of Brantley County; and numerous other relatives.
The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff at DaVita Satilla River Dialysis for the excellent compassion and care given to Ray during his time as a patient there.
A graveside service was held December 4 in Piney Grove Cemetery.
