Bryson
AUGUSTA, Ga. — Mr. Brandon Edward Bryson, 34, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at his residence in Augusta.
He was born in Waycross to Tony Bryson and Angie Barfield Bryson, and was a 2009 graduate of Ware Magnet School. He was employed as an electrician with Marco Electrical Contractors and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1579.
Bryson attended church at New Beginnings in Christ in Garfield, Ga. His faith was strong, and those who knew him would say he was kindhearted, courageous, and funny.
He is survived by his son, Brayden Edward Bryson of Blackshear; his mother, Angie Bryson of Waycross; his father, Tony Bryson (Gina) of Waycross; his brother, Aaron Bryson (Macy) of Waycross; two step-siblings, Jake Griffin (Kasey) of Elberta, Ala., and Carrie Harrison (Gus) of Blackshear; his stepgrandmother, Joan Bryson of Waycross; the mother of his son, Brittany Hickox of Blackshear; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held December 6 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.
