PV Baptist slates holiday program Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 7136 Central Avenue, holds its annual Christmas musical program at 6 p.m., Sunday, December 14.
The church’s choir directed by Minister of Music Sam Stack, will be the foundation for the service’s music. The drama team directed by Linda Hickox will re-enact the meaning of the season.

The ministry serves people from more than a dozen counties in southeast Georgia and north Florida.
River of Life starts resource program River of Life Church, 1439 Brunel Street, offers a community resource center from 10 a.m. to noon, the fourth Friday of each month.
The River Missions program will offer practical life skills, hot meals, clothing and more. Next session is December 26.
