Ware BOE holds meetings Dec. 15-16 The Ware County Board of Education will meet for its regular meetings at 6 p.m. Monday-Tuesday, December 15-16 at the board offices, 1301 Bailey Street.
A work session will be held December 15 followed by the regular business meeting the next evening. Both meetings are open to the public, and the Tuesday meeting will be live-streamed.

Dine & Dash Elf Run slated Dec. 13 Satilla Advocacy Services holds its Downtown Dash & Dine Elf Run, at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 13 The 3k and mile fun run are in memory of Cindy Tanner, and all proceeds benefit Satilla Advocacy. Food trucks will be on site and local restaurants will be open.
Race day registration and packet pickup is noon.

Nutcracker staged in 2 shows Dec. 13 Center Stage Studio presents The Nutcracker in two performances Saturday, December 13 at Ware County Middle School Auditorium, 2301 Cherokee Street.
Show times are 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 for ages 10-up and $10 for children ages 4-9.
