WAYNESVILLE — A Waynesville man was arrested after Brantley County deputies responded to a home security alarm here Wednesday.
The alarm was reportedly set off when Nathaniel Lashawn McCray (5-foot-5, 155 lbs.), a 44-year-old black male, of a Waynesville address, entered a Hawks Landing Drive home through a window about 11:30 a.m., December 3. After arriving on scene, Williams noticed a window shade move indicating someone was inside the home.
Officers entered and searched the home. Sheriff Len Davis arrived and searched the garage where he found McCray hiding under a vehicle.
McCray was taken into custody and charged with Terroristic Threats and Acts, Burglary (2nd degree) and Criminal Trespass.
