WAYCROSS — Mr. Raymond Calvin Cribb, Jr., 69 of Waycross, died Sunday evening, Novembeer 30, 2025 at his residence after a brief illness.
Cribb was born in Waycross to the late Raymond Calvin Cribb, Sr., and Ruth Chancey Cannon. He had made Waycross his home for his entire life.
Cribb retired from AT&T where he worked as a service technician. He enjoyed talking on his CB Radio with his “CB Buddies” going by the handle of “Rocket”. Cribb loved his dogs, fishing and cooking.
Along with his parents, Cribb was preceded in death by his brother, Morris Dixon, Sr.; his nephew, Morris Dixon, Jr.; and his infant sister, Mary Cribb.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Cribb of Waycross; one son, Daniel Cribb of Rebecca, Ga.; his step-mother, Betty Cribb Overstreet of Waycross; his step-sister, Donna Hurst Haynes (Geoff) of Amelia Island, Fla.; a special cousin, Dennis Newton (Ann) of Blackshear; his niece, Elaine Dixon of Waycross; his nephew, Glen Keen (Jamie) of Brantley County; and numerous other relatives.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff at DaVita Satilla River Dialysis for the excellent compassion and care given to Cribb during his time as a patient there.
A graveside service was held Thursday, December 4 in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements were with Miles-Odum Funeral Home in Waycross.
