Special to the WJH Waycross Area Community Theatre presents “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” as its featured production for the holiday season this week and next at the historic Ritz Theatre, 309 Pendleton Street.
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is a story about the six Herdman siblings, known for being the worst kids in town, who unexpectedly take over their church's annual Christmas pageant.
While the community is horrified, the Herdmans' unique and misguided performance of the nativity story ends up teaching everyone the true meaning of Christmas, leading to a surprising and heartwarming holiday celebration.
Show dates are Thursday- Sunday, December 4--7 and Thursday-Saturday, December 11-13. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. with the exception of the December 7 show which is at 2:30 p.m.
Seats are $18 per person and can be reserved by visiting www.waycrossritz. com. Tickets also are available a the Ritz box office one hour before each performance.
This production is being directed by Niki Spivey.
