Sheriff’s Report

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests this week.

• Billy Jim Dixon, 52, was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 19, and charged with felony - obstruction of off icers, misdemeanor obstruction of off icers, driving with license suspended/ revoked and he was also arrested for felony probation warrant.

ACE Unit Investigator Greg Nettles conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County that resulted in Dixon’s arrest.

• Keshawn Imone Hayes, 22, was arrested Friday, Nov. 21, and charged with two counts related to a Sunday, October 5 inc ident. Hayes is charged with felony - ent ering automobile or other motor vehicle with intent to commit a theft of felony and criminal attempt to commit felony.

Deputy Jacob Holmes responded to the initial call and the Aggressive Crime Enforcement (ACE) Unit was called in. Upon further research and obtaining evidence, Hayes was arrested.

• Quenton Byrd, 30, was arrested Saturday, Nov. 22, and charged with felony - aggravated assault - family violence, cruelty to children - first degree, misdemeanor criminal trespass - family violence.

Deputy Corey Sparks responded to an area in Pierce County that led to Byrd’s arrest.

• Kristina King, 45, was arrested Friday, Nov. 28 and charged with felony - possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor - poss ession and use of drug related objects.

ACE Unit Investigator Wayne Mercer, Investigator Greg Nettles, and Investigator Bryce Edwards conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County. As a result, King was arrested.
