Waycross Area Community Theatre will present the heartwarming story, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” as their featured production for the holiday season.
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is a story about the six Herdman siblings, known for being the worst kids in town, who unexpectedly take over their church's annual Christmas pageant. While the community is horrified, the Herdmans' unique and misguided performance of the nativity story ends up teaching everyone the true meaning of Christmas, leading to a surprising and heartwarming holiday celebration.
The production is directed by Niki Spivey and features an extensive cast, including Laura Setser, Jonathan Hiott, Aryana Courson, Benlee Brewster, Michael Kersey, Libby Carrin, Adley Bennett, Josiah Courson, Jackson Bennett, Jolene Bennett, Raylee Martin, Brittany Kersey, Anna Miller, Tara Cox, Laurel Ingle, Mady Kate Bullard, Ellie Jo Rowell, Emmalynn Hendrix, Mataeo Staten, Emma Setser, Weslyn Simpson, Yuri Martin, Emmy Rowell, Kyra Courson, Brooke Courson, Marley Mathis, Kartyr Simpson, Paityn Walker, Grace Cox, Kailaya Drawdy and Brenson Drawdy.
Show dates for “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” are 7:30 p.m. December 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13 and a 2:30 p.m. matinee performance December 7.
