Civic entrepreneur talks to state retirees

David Jordan, president of the South Georgia Chapter of the Georgia State Retiree Association, thanks Grayson Grobsmith for his address to the group during its meeting last month. Grobsmith is the founder and owner of G.L. Grobsmith LLC, a firm providing civic, mediation, immigration, and community support services across Southeast Georgia. Through his work, the Waycross native has collaborated with judges, attorneys, and public officials to promote civic engagement and accessible community resources. Jordan, who serves as Ware County Coroner, retired from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources with 32 years service. He is the chapter’s new president, and said its semi-annual meetings in 2026 will be May 12 and November 10 at Hog ‘n’ Bones.
