Throughout the month of November, students at Daffodil Pre-K learned about the first Thanksgiving. Students enjoyed many activities where they were able to learn how the Native Americans and pilgrims lived. One of the students’ favorite activities was making a fire building snack to learn how the Native Americans cooked their food over a fire. “The students always enjoy learning about the first Thanksgiving by participating in numerous hands-on activities,” said teacher Holly Thomas. The principal at Daffodil Pre-K is Dr. Shawanna Johnson. Students in the class of Melanie Carter and Jayla Nelson are (l-r) Liam Reynolds, Oaklynn Steverson, Noah Prevatt, Armani White, Andres Rios, and Autumn Williams.
