Patricia Peebles Hickox, 68 of Nahunta, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Lyons, Ga., her parents were Robert “Bill” Talmadge Peebles and Donnell Newsome. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Renee Hickox; two sisters, Runt Hillard, Carolyn Lowther; and her 2nd mother, Fanny Hickox.
Mrs. Hickox worked many years as a Registered Nurse. She loved plants and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-inlaw, Chris Hickox (Dawn) and Troy Hickox (Marie), all of Nahunta; six grandchildren, Katie Lee, Taylor Jellerson (Takota), Deziree Hickox (Haileigh), Dalton Hickox, Branson Hickox and Braydon Hickox (Hannah); great grandchildren, Sophia Lee, A.J. Lee and one on the way; a brother, Buddy Peebles of Lyons; three sisters and brothers-inlaw, Sue Harris (Mike) of Winokur, Sissy Collins (Earnest) of Lyons and Wanda Hillard; her former husband, Robert Hickox of Nahunta; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
