Kenneth Lester Crews

HOBOKEN – Kenneth Lester Crews, 71 of Hoboken passed away Thursday afternoon, November 20, 2025 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.

Born in Folkston, his parents were William “Bill” Crews and Irene Moody Crews. He is also preceded in death by a son, Melvin Crews; a sister, Mary Morgan; and three brothers, Jerry Crews, Larry Crews and John Drury, Jr.

Crews was a mechanic for Flowers & Sons Logging before his health declined. He loved going fishing, hunting and tinkering around.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte “Ann” Crews of Hoboken; a son, Scott Crews of Hoboken; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane King of Hephzibah and Mary Beth Lee (Tony) of Hoboken; 11 grandchildren, T.J. King, Lester King, Shawn King, Christopher King, Justin King, Brandi Rowland, Brittany Lee, Kirsten Price, Austin Losey, Hope Losey and Adam Losey; several great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby Crews (Trish) of Riverside and Tony Drury (Theresa) of Hoboken; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A graveside service was held Tuesday morning, November 25, 2025 at Hoboken Cemetery with Rev. Freddie Newman officiating.

Pallbearers were Lester King, Shawn King, Christopher King, John Rowland, Jeffrey Wildes and Hunter King.

Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
