Thank you for aerial photo of waste dump
I live in Atkinson and I want to thank you for courageously publishing the aerial picture of the toxic waste dump on the front page (November 5 edition).
Now there is real proof for the public to see about the dump now under construction.
Shame on the Georgia EPA for allowing this to go forward. Shame on the previous county officials for their lack of concern for the safety and health of future generations who drink the water, breath the air, and live in the east end of our county.
And now there is a gag order for current county officials to even comment on this. So continue investigating the dump scandal and keeping the public informed.
