Chamber Community Chow set for December 1
The community is invited to Chamber Community Chow December 1, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Chamber of Commerce will be providing Homemade Soup and Cornbread. The office is located at 200 SW Central Ave., Blackshear.
Christmas Parade set for Monday, December 8
“Tinsel, Tiaras and Tractor Tires” will be the theme of this year’s community Christmas parade.
The parade will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8.
The annual parade will assemble at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Carter Avenue and will travel down Gordon Street and Main Street (Georgia Highway 15/121) before disbanding at the BOE Office.
Christmas Market set for Thursday, December 11
Vendors are needed for the upcoming Christmas market to be held Thursday, Dec. 11.
The event will be held on SE Central Avenue from 5- 8 p.m. that evening.
