Pierce County Rec Department hosted a special early Thanksgiving meal for area seniors last week. Plenty of food was on hand at the NFC Gym as well as plenty of volunteers to serve it. Turkey, chicken fingers, mac and cheese, green bean casserole, potato salad and more was spread across several tables. The Rec Department said it was their way of showing that they serve all Pierce residents, young and old.
