Organizers of Hospice Satilla's 13th Annual Silver Bowl Gala at The Banter report a wonderful time was had by all who attended.
It was a fun-filled evening of fellowship with friends and family coming together to support the ongoing mission of Hospice Satilla, the area's only nonprofit hospice. Attendees enjoyed food and refreshments while listening to live music provided by The Naturals, a three piece band playing a selection of classic hits.
The annual gala event has helped establish and maintain the Hospice Satilla Hospice House, the only inpatient facility of its kind in the area, as well as the Jones Family Center for grief support, counseling and education.
Speaking on behalf of the board of trustees, Candice Rice said, “So many people have contributed their time and talents to make this a success and we are all so grateful.”
The generosity of individual donors and community businesses allows Hospice Satilla to care for community members— regardless of their ability to pay. Donations raised by the gala help bridge any funding gaps, which allow the hospice to never turn anyone away.
A reveal of the grand total raised by the event will be made in forthcoming announcement by the board of trustees. Until then, contributions are still being gratefully accepted and may be sent to 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, GA.
