BLACKSHEAR — Mrs. Cecile Elaine Allbritton Glass, 70, of Blackshear died Friday morning, November 14, 2025, at Harborview Pierce after an extended illness.
She was born in Waycross to the late Andrew Allbritton and Eula Mae Steverson Allbritton. Mrs.
Glass worked as a caregiver for many years in North Carolina and in Waycross for the Waycross Journal-Herald. She att ended Waresboro Baptist
Glass
Church.
Mrs. Glass loved to travel and read books. More than anything she loved God and her family. She cherished every moment she could read her Bible and pray, and every moment she was able to spend with her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Marvin Glass; one brother, Edward Allbritton; and three sisters, Marva Dale Allbritton, Nell Collins, and Alice Tuckerman.
Mrs. Glass is survived by two daughters, Heather McLemore (Megan) of Acworth, Ga., ad Tiffany Romero (Miguel) of Blackshear; her only and precious grandchild, Miguel Romero, Jr.; four siblings, James Allbritton of Yulee, Fla., Doyle Allbritton of Cave Springs, Ga., Alva Jo Free of Rome, Ga., and Billie Chambers (Rodney) of Cartersville, Ga., as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
