NAHUNTA — Five individuals and a K-9 were recognized during the annual 2025 Brantley County Exchange Club One Nation Under God Community Service Award program.
The highlight of the program was the Book of Golden Deeds, presented to Justin Smith with the Brantley County Board of Elections.
Hailey Cashman, Brantley County E-911, was named the Dispatcher of the Year. Nikki Day, Brantley County EMS, was the recipient of the Medic of the Year.
Chief Billy Murray, Calvary Fire Department, was tabbed the Firefighter of the Year. The Officer of the Year was presented to K9 Boyer with the Brantley County Sheriff's Office.
Joey Saunds, Brantley County Parks & Recreation, received the Community Service Award.
