Beacon to serve as legal organ for county

has been named the legal organ of Brantley County for 2026.

The decision was voted on Monday, November 10 by Clerk of Superior Court Debbie Sirmans, Judge of Probate Court Jonathan McMillan and Brantley County Sheriff Len Davis.

“Sandy and I want to thank the constables for their faith and trust in us,” said Publisher Rick Head.

The Beacon has served as legal organ for the county in even numbered years dating back to 2018.

The City of Hoboken named The Brantley Express its legal organ earlier this month.

The City of Nahunta will render its decision during its Monday, December 1 meeting.
