BCHS Drama Class presenting ‘Our Place’ Thursday, Nov. 20 CANEY BAY — The Brantley County High School Drama Class is presenting “Our Place”, a drama by Terry Gabbard, Thursday, November 20 in the BCHS lunchroom.
Tickets are $10 and includes a dinner, which will be served at 5:30 p.m. The performance begins at 6 p.m.
‘Business After Hours’ is Thursday at Creative Corner NAHUNTA — “Business After Hours” is scheduled for Thursday, November 20 at Creative Corner located at 9864 North Main Street Nahunta.
The event is from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. There will be light refreshments, door prizes and the opportunity to network with other businesses.
Candyland Christmas festivities slated Thurs., Dec. 4, Sat. Dec. 6 NAHUNTA — The Candyland Christmas festivities will begin Thursday, December 4 with the annual Brantley County Tree Lighting at 7 p.m., on the courthouse lawn.
There will be a festival Saturday, December 6 beginning at 9 a.m., around the courthouse. Vendors’ set up is from 7 a.m.-8:30 a.m.
The event will feature live music, a car show, vendors, a kids’ zone and food trucks until 3 p.m.
The annual Christmas Parade down Main Street is schedule for 2 p.m.
‘Santa’s Big Band Bash’ to be held Tuesday, December 9 CANEY BAY — Brantley County’s elementary and middle school bands will perform Tuesday, December 9 inside the Brantley County Middle School gym.
The event begins at 7 p.m., with a $1 donation. Hot chocolate will also be available.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on site from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Pictures taken with Santa are $10 with all proceeds support the band program.
‘Grand Hearts Growing Futures’ resource fair is January 16, 2026 NAHUNTA — A community resource fair for grandparents raising grandchildren will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Brantley County Senior Center located at 789 Burton Street.

Brantley FFA Alumni Pheasant Shoot is Saturday, January 31 RAYBON — The Brantley FFA Alumni Pheasant Shoot is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Strickland’s Tractor Shed in Raybon.
Breakfast and check in is at 9 .m. The morning shoot is scheduled for 10 a.m. and the afternoon shoot begins at 2 p.m. Lunch will be held at 12 p.m.
The cost is $250 per shooter with a 200-bird shoot. There will be 16 stations for 32 shooters. Registration includes entry to win a gun from Stanley Branch Armory.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed. Dogs and ATVs are allowed. Contestants provide their own ammunition. There are four prize birds and raffle tickets will be sold.
