HORTENSE – Paul Ernest Kelly, 73, of Hortense passed away Friday afternoon, November 14, 2025 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.
Born in Brunswick, Kelly’s parents were Spencer Felder Kelly and Letha Loree Daniels Kelly. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Terry Jayne Walker Kelly; a sister, Letha Brockington Cunningham; and a brother, Chester Kelly.
Kelly was a truck driver for many years before becoming the plant manager for Mobile Concrete, Inc. He loved fishing and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Duplisea (David) of Palmyra, Maine; a son, Chris Kelly of Hortense; two grandchildren, Ashley Wright and Alicia Joslin; a sister and brother-in-law, Judy Brockington Aspinwall (Burnice) of Jesup; two nieces, Sharon Aspinwall and Elaine Aspinwall Miller (Charles); a nephew, Eric Drury (Jodi) of Hortense; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.
