Tanisha Nunn Gary, former Pierce County resident was recently recognized by Orlando Magazine as one of the 50 Most Powerful in Orlando.
Gary is the president of the African American Chamber of Commerce in Central Florida.
“I am truly honored to be recognized by Orlando Magazine as one of the 50 Most Powerful in Orlando. This acknowledgment is a reflection of the incredible work being done every day to strengthen and uplift our community,” Gary said. “Congratulations to all of the leaders included in this year’s list. It is a privilege to be among so many who are making a meaningful impact across Central Florida.”
Gary graduated from Pierce County High School in 1992 and later attended Spelman College, a historically black college.
Gary earned a law degree and practiced law for 18 years.
After her law career, she became president of the African American Chamber of Commerce in Central Florida.
