The waving man is no longer here. Now, a bouquet of flowers sits in the roadside chair where Andrew Jackson “AJ” Booth once watched the cars go by on Tyre Bridge Road in Patterson. Booth, who died Oct. 26, often sat by the roadside and waved at passersby.
