Black Friday is well known and more recently Cyber Monday has become a familiar event, but have you ever heard of Giving Tuesday?
Okefenokee Fellowship of Christian Athletes FCA has launched a campaign to utilize #Giving-Tuesday to raise funds to provide a personalized FCA Bible to every senior athlete in Bacon, Brantley, Pierce, & Ware counties. The cost to reach this goal is approximately $6,000. The Okefenokee FCA asks those interested to “please consider supporting our efforts to put the Word of God in the hands of our senior athletes.”
Giving Tuesday was originally created in 2012 as a day to encourage people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement which inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.
