Pierce County High School’s One Act Team was named the 2025 Georgia High School Association Region 3AA One Act Play Runner-Up at the October 29 Region Competition at Cook High School. The team performed ‘The Girl in the White Pinafore” by Jiggs Burgess, directed by Rebecca Sermons. Main cast members included Livie Metts, Zacch Lyons, Mattie Lee, Bryce Taylor, Paige Folette, Addison Folette, Piper Yeomans, and Brandon Griffin. Ensemble members included Abby Hicks, Riley Martinez, Zara Murray, Trinity Eason, and Gracie Phillips. Crew members included Lyla Gerard, Jesica Nolasco, Briley Harris, Kacie Perritt, and Hayden Harris. Set design was created by Leslie Crane and Soleil Crane. Pierce County also earned multiple individual awards. The Spotlight Award for Best Featured Performance was awarded to the Pierce Ensemble: Gracie Phillips, Riley Martinez, Livie Metts, Zara Murray, Piper Yeomans, Abby Hicks and Trinity Eason. Additional awards included Best Supporting Actor for Zacch Lyons, All Star Cast recognition for Brandon Griffin, and Outstanding Technical Execution for Jesica Nolasco.
