A sentence in a story in the October 29 edition of the Waycross Journal-Herald about the Waycross City Commission planning and information session held October 20 that referenced Assistant City Attorney Huey Spearman could have been misleading. The citizen who mentioned Spearman in his address to commissioners said Spearman didn’t belong in the City Attorney’s seat in Commission Chambers.
