The Hospice Satilla Board of Trustees is finalizing plans for the 13th annual Silver Bowl Gala in less than two weeks. The organization’s key fundraiser will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 13 at The Banter, 255 Main Street in Blackshear. Trustees including (l-r) Susan Rye, Cathy McGee, Anna Wheeler, and Candice Moody Rice recently reviewed the poster announcing the event, which is open to the public and includes music by The Naturals and special catered treats from Heavenly Delights by Gina. Attire is business casual, and Valet parking is available. There are no tickets sold, but contributions at the door in the silver bowl are appreciated. Those unable to attend but who would like to contribute, may end donations to Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, 31501.
