CARROLLTON — Brantley County’s Lady Herons and Herons each participated here in Saturday’s Class A Division I state track meet at Carrollton High School.
The Lady Herons placed 11th in the November 8 24-team finals finishing with 335 points. Bleckly County ran away with the crown finishing with 23 points with the team posting five of the top seven finishes for a fifth consecutive title.
The Lady Royals were followed in the Top 10 by Bremen (109), Fannin County (110), Jeff Davis (160), Jasper County (198), Model (200), Armuchee (234), Banks County (299), Vidalia (322) and Haralson County (323).
