Ware GOP hosts District 1 candidate
The Ware County Republican Party welcomes First District Congressional candidate Matt Day to its monthly meeting next week.
Day will speak and take questions during the meeting Monday, November 17 at Hog ‘n’ Bones, 1900 Memorial Drive. A Dutch treat meal is at 6 p.m. with the the program at 6:30 p.m.
Day is one of seven candidates vying for the GOP nomination for the seat being vacated by Buddy Carter, who’s running for the party’s U.S. Senate nomination to face incumbent John Ossoff next year. Day, of Douglas, operates a cattle farm in his native Georgia as well as three nationwide businesses in the glass and construction industry.
