Members of the Waycross High School Class of 1958 recently enjoyed a fellowship reunion at L.L. Creek that focused on helping others and saying farewell to classmate Beth Herrin McClelland. Classmates donated their closing treasury amount to Okefenokee Alliance for the Homeless. “We previously donated our monies to this great organization and feel led to continue our thinking of these wonderful people,” said McClelland, who’ll soon move to Savannah to be near her children. For many years, McClelland, a former teacher, has been a leader in the Waycross community and First Baptist Church. So many appreciate her years of teaching in the Waycross School System.
