WAYCROSS — Mrs. Pamela Ann San Nicolas, 65, of Waycross, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, October 28, 2025, at Memorial Satilla Health after a brief illness.
Mrs. San Nicolas was born January 7, 1960, in Jesup to the late Vernon Nicholas and Betty Jo Hallm a n Nicholas. She was a proud graduate of Brantley County High School and later earned an Associate’s Degree from Ware Tech. She dedicated much of her life to public service, working for the City of Waycross for 20 years and Ware County for 17 years.
Above all, Mrs. San Nicolas was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished spending time with her family, going to the beach, taking road trips, sharing coffee with “Papa,” and enjoying Christmas train rides. Her family often joked that it was a mystery how she could visit the beach and never get any sand on her. She took great pride in her appearance and was known for her neatness and graceful presence.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Nicholas and Stanley Nicholas.
Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life and beloved husband of 20 years, Joey V. San Nicolas of Waycross; her children, Sabrina Taft (Kenneth), Ashley Perry (Kyle), Matthew Rowell (Katherine), Joey Vincent San Nicolas, Nina Marie San Nicolas, and Rebecca Frances San Nicolas (Richard); her grandchildren, Brooke Faulk (Laban), Ethan John San Nicolas (Jenevieve), Whitney Walker (Colby), Molly Putala (Nicolas), Macey Perry, Masyn Perry (Annie), Maxxyn Perry, Asher Rowell, Brielle Rowell, Lyla Rowell, Alanna Campbell (Nathan), Damien James San Nicolas, Ian Jude San Nicolas, Olivia San Nicolas, Luke San Nicolas, Mia Ayumi, Isaiah San Nicolas, and Ayden San Nicolas; and great grandchildren, Maylee Marie Perry, Riley Brooke Faulk, Blakely Madison Walker, Levi Campbell, Layton Campbell, AElea-Jo San Nicolas, and Eilas James. She is also is survived by her sister, Lisa Pollard (Tommy) and brother, Ricky Nicholas (Virginia); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Monday, November 3 the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation.
