Election Day results were not available by the time this week’s edition went to press.
Election results will be posted on The Times Facebook page and on The Blackshear Times app once they are available Tuesday, Nov. 4. The Times app can be downloaded on the Apple app store or Google Play store.
Locally, voters countywide are deciding whether to extend the Education Special Local Option Sales Tax (ESPLOST). Voters in Blackshear are choosing a mayor and voters in Patterson are choosing two city council members.
Statewide, two seats are up for election on the public service commission.
