Veteran’s Program

Pierce County’s Veterans’ Day Celebration will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11.

A program will be held at 11 a.m. at the Historic Blacks hear Train Depot. Charlissa Culp, a 10 year veteran of the U.S. Navy, will be the guest speaker.

Culp is a real estate broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hodnett Cooper Real Estate, where she has received numerous awards and has ranked among the top realtors in the state of Georgia. She was recently recognized by her community and awarded Business Woman of the Year for 2024.

As a philanthropist and mentor, she continuously gives back through her privately funded initiatives, such as providing certified CPR training and hosting turkey giveaways, community luncheons and water drives. She actively supports local businesses and various non-profit organizations.

Culp graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ashford University with a MBA with Specialization in Human Resource Management and Master Of Arts, Teaching and Learning with Technology in the College of Education.

She is an active member of The Georgia and Florida Association of Realtors, and The National Association of Realtors.

Culp balances her roles as a dedicated wife, mother and friend while providing exceptional customer service to her clients. She attributes her success to her spiritual faith and passion for helping families achieve their dream of homeownership.

Better Hometown Blackshear and the Blackshear Rotary Club will host this year’s Veteran’s Dayceremony.

Flamin’ Smokers BBQ will host a community lunch following the program.
