We have so much to be thankful for. Let’s celebrate this month with an attitude of gratitude because everyday is a day of Thanksgiving.
Here’s the news for this week: The Session Hill Community Center will have Bingo beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, November 15. Please note the change in the date. The event will be held at the center, 3105 Allen Ave., Blackshear. For more information contact Jacqueline Wallace at 912-449-4988. ***** An Appreciation Banquet honoring Co-Pastor LaWanda Taylor will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, November 15. The event will be hosted by Walking By Faith Ministry of Waycross. It will be held at the Train Depot, 200 SW Central Avenue, Blackshear. Tickets are $35 per person. ***** Union Sunday School will be held at Scott Chapel United Methodist Church beginning at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, November 19. A teacher’s meeting will be held at 7 p.m. November 11. Scott Chapel is located at 420 Hwy Ave. in Blackshear. ***** Ministers Alliance: All pastors, elders and ministers of God are asked to meet for prayer at 9 a.m. every first Monday of the month at Rainge Funeral Home, 505 Ware Street Blackshear. ***** Election Day was yesterday, Nov. 4.
