ST. GEORGE – Dorothy “Dot” Allbritton Rhoden, 89 of St. George, passed away Monday morning, October 27, 2025 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick after an extended

illness.
Born in Hoboken, Mrs. Rhoden’s parents were Owen David Allbritton and Rachel Lee Allbritton. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lamar Rhoden, Jr.; four sons, Larry Rhoden, Lamar Rhoden, Harry Rhoden and Randy Rhoden; and four brothers, Henry Allbritton, Lester Allbritton, J.D. Allbritton and John Agie Allbritton.
Rhoden
Mrs. Rhoden was a custodian at Nahunta Elementary School for many years and a member of Nahunta Church of God. She loved her boys with all her heart, which showed in the care she gave them.
She loved the Lord, taking care of her family, teaching Sunday School and going fishing.
Survivors include three brothers and sisters-inlaw, Grady Allbritton (Debbie) of St. George, Fred Allbritton (Jane) of Riverside and Joe Allbritton (Josephine) of Hickox; two sisters and a brotherin- law, Deloris Lovell of Blackshear and Sarah Lowe (Mike) of Alma; two sisters-in-law, Vera Allbritton of Hoboken and Carolyn Adamczyk of Mc-Clenney, Fla.; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service wase held Friday morning, October 31, 2025 at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Florey and Rev. David Allbritton officiating.
Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers weree Bryson Allbritton, Raymond Graham, David Gillis, Dwayne Allbritton, Drake Gillis, Nick Gillis and Wesley Allbritton.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
