BRANTLEY CO. — Victoria Jane “Tori” Wheeler, 31, passed away Saturday
Wheeler
morning, November 1, 2025, at her residence in Brantley County after an extended illness.
Born May 10, 1994, in Ft. Pierce, Fla., Ms. Wheeler later att ended Brantley County High School. Those who truly knew her knew what a fiery soul she was.
Ms. Wheeler was genuine, outspoken and always real — “if you wanna know, ask Victoria.” Loyal to the people she loved, she shared her tender heart with a select few who will forever cherish that side of her.
Above all, she adored her four children, who were the light of her life. Ms. Wheeler had a gift for brightening any room she entered, often unaware of how beautiful she truly was inside and out.
Ms. Wheeler shared a strong and meaningful bond with Ethan Taylor Drury, and a deep friendship and years of memories with Tyler Carig Norby, with whom she shared three of her beloved children.
To know her was to love her — she had many lifelong friends who each hold a special piece of her story. Her family is deeply grateful to all who stood by her through life’s good, bad, and even the ugly moments, and who surrounded her with love until the end.
Survivors include her parents, Perry and Melissa Wheeler of Waycross; her children, Ty Edward Norby, Ella Jade Wheeler, Trevor Austin Norby and Emma Raynell Norby; the father of her children, Tyler Carig Norby of Waycross; her boyfriend, Ethan Taylor Drury of Waycross; two brothers, Alex Cole Wheeler of Waycross and Dylan Thomas Wheeler of Jacksonville, Fla.; her paternal grandmother, Mary Wheeler of Waycross; special caregivers, Tonya Cox and Amber Norby of Waycross; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
