The Blackshear Times made an error in last week’s edition. In the article about the retirement of Kavis Baker Sr. from the United States Navy, his rank was incorrectly listed as Master Chief Petty Officer. Baker’s rank was Machinist Mate Chief Petty Officer. The Times regrets the error and thanks Baker and his family for bringing it to our attention
