
Larry Walter Roberson, 77, of Blackshear, passed away early Sunday morning, October 26, 2025, at his residence in Folkston.
Born May 3, 1948, in Waycross, he was a son of the late Isaac W. and Nola King Roberson. He lived most of his life in Pierce County and was a 1966 graduate of Blackshear High School. He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, the University of Georgia and Roberson
Penn State University before receiving his license as a fire protection sprinkler fitter. He was a member of Local Union 669 and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Roberson Smith and a brother, Guy Floyd Roberson.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sharon Pearson Roberson, Blackshear; daughter, Lauren Roberson Klein (husband Casey), Franklin, Tennessee; son, Zach Roberson (wife Savannah), Hahira; two grandchildren, Andi Roberson and Archie Roberson; brother, Harry Wayne Roberson; sisterin- law and brother-in-law, Linda and D.R. Sapp, Blackshear and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, from the Beulah Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in the Beulah Baptist Cemetery.
