C. Chaney
Christopher Levi Chaney, 37, of Blackshear, passed away Saturday morning, October 25, 2025, at his residence.
Born June 24, 1988, in Savannah, he lived all his life in Pierce County and was a 2006 graduate of Pierce County High School. He had worked as an electrician with Arrowhead Electric and Systems, LLC.
He was preceded in death by his Papa, Truman Lester Chaney and his grandfather, Travis Davis. His father, Virgil Lester Chaney, also passed away Saturday morning, October 25.
Survivors include his mother, Tereasa Chaney, Blackshear; sister, Kaitlyn Storm Chaney, Jacksonville, FL; niece, Zara Murray, Blackshear; Nana, Jenetha Strickland Chaney, Blackshear; Grandmother, Linda Howell, Waycross; aunts and uncles, Bryan Chaney, Karen Bowen Patterson and Jasper Davis (wife Cathy), all of Blackshear, and D’won Davis, Waycross; his second mom, Aundria Deal, Blackshear and several other relatives.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, from the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Enon Cemetery.
