• Willie Dee Van Jr., 42, and Jessica Ann Mowrey, 37, were arrested Monday, October 13. Van Jr. was charged with felony - possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a Scheduled I controlled substance and misdemeanor - possession of marijuana less than 1oz. Mowrey was charged with two counts of felony - possession of a Scheduled I cont rolled Substance and misdemeanor - possession of marijuana less than 1oz.
Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Unit Investigator Greg Nettles, Investigator Bryce Edwards and Deputy Blaine Mercer responded to an area in Pierce County. After initial contact, a Fourth Amendment Waiver Search was conducted that resulted in the arrest of Van and Mowrey.
• Thomas Eugene Mott II was arrested Wednesday, October 8. Mott was released from prison that same day and immediately arrested by Pierce County Sheriff's office for two felony warrants of theft by taking. The incidents occurred August 24 and August 31, 2023.
• James Dylan Thornton, 28, was arrested Thursday, October 9, and charged with felony possession of a scheduled I controlled substance, possession of a scheduled IV cont rolled substance, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and served a parole violation warrant.
Deputy Hunter Griffin conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County that led to Thornton’s arrest.
• Alexis Jewel Lyons, 23, was arrested Friday, October 10, and charged with felony - filing false documents.
ACE Unit Investigator Bryce Edwards responded to an area in Pierce County and that led to Lyons’ arrest.
• Wendell Duane Meadows, 57, and Rachel Louise Meadows, 76, were arrested Monday, October 20, during a traffic stop.
R. Meadows was charged with felony hindering/apprehension or punishment of criminal. W . Meadows was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant felony aggravated assault - family violence from an incident that occurred Sept. 28.
Deputy Corey Sparks responded to a residence in Pierce County Sept. 28. After initial contact, ACE Unit Investigator Greg Nettles was called in to assist. After further inv estigation and evidence obtained an arrest warrant was issued for W. Meadows. A be on the lookout (BOLO) was issued at that time.
Deputy Landon Ryals made the traffic stop Oct. 20 that led to the Meadows’ arrests.
