Ware County recently received $1,000,000 in CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funds for street and drainage improvements on Deerwood and Pine Forest roads. The project will benefit 95 persons, of whom 80 (84.21%) are low-to-moderate income persons. The total project cost is $1,961,453 with $961,453 in match, leverage and in-kind services for the county.
