Waycross-Ware County Retired Educators Association began its first meeting of the year last month with a reception to welcome new and returning retirees, an awards presentation, and information regarding the Georgia Retired Educators Association AMBA benefits presented by representative Lisa McKenzie. Members who were recognized and received a certificate for dedication and support were (l-r): Dr. Linda Perry Simpson, publicity, Charlie Gibson, inspirations; Mary Helen Gibson, treasurer; Pamela Altman, handbooks; Kathy Cox, secretary; Minnie Dotson, vice president; and Karen Ethridge, president.
