A new program, hosted by Patterson native, Allie Peagler is set to premiere soon on The Blackshear Times’ Facebook page .
The Blackshear Times Show, a brief video program, will air each Tuesday on The Times’ platforms.
The program will be aimed at supporting and boosting our print edition. The print edition will still be mailed or emailed to subscribers each Tuesday as well.
“We are excited to have Peagler host and produce this accessory to the print edition,” said Times Publisher, Sandy Head.
The program will also allow us to further help advertisers by giving them another avenue to get their message out to the public. “I am so excited to dive deeper into a role at The Blackshear Times. I spent nearly my entire childhood looking forward to accomplishments being published in this paper,” Peagler said. “I couldn’t think of a better way to serve my community than to boast about their achievements on camera — what a full circle moment. From looking forward to being in print to helping move the paper I love so dearly into the digital age. I want to serve in this role to the best of my abilities and give all credit where it’s due.”
